Chapter 6: A Brand New Day
I thought there would have been something to bind my raft base together at the lagoon. I found an old parachute rope in the hut. A phone would’ve been a nice find, but I’m happy with a rope.
The quicker my raft is finished, the quicker I’ll be back home. The parachute rope worked great! I tied up the raft base. It’s really starting to come together.
I felt like the lagoon would be a much nicer place to live. Even though I’m still proud of my shelter, I moved into the old hut by the lagoon.
I took some time and resources to fix up the hut by the lagoon. Make it more my own. I added some furnishings. I’m hoping I can get the cover of next month’s copy of “Huts & Jungles” magazine.
