Chapter 5: The Eye that Binds
I thought the wreckage might have some wires, or something, that I could use as rope. After searching the crashed plane, I found what appears to be Spaulding’s missing gem.
I had to see if the jewel fit the idol. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it gave me a face full of illness. I fell like my insides want to be on the outside. This is not good.
The gas that came out of that idol made me feel terribly ill. If I didn’t locate some medicine soon…well, let’s not think about that. My luck is finally turning around. I found an old hut with a first aid kit inside. The medicine packed quite a punch, but I feel like my old self again.
