Chapter 15: Idol Fancy
I hated to interrupt, but it didn’t look like I had a choice. That Shaman was meditating like it was his job. After speaking with him, I realized that all the fuss was about my old buddy, Spaulding. I knew there was something special about that idol. I’m a great judge of the personified character.
I remembered exactly where I last saw the idol. I hoped it’s still there—it wasn’t I found Spaulding back with the orangutans in Simian City. Maybe I’ll open a lost and found hut.
I returned to Creepy Hollow. That Shaman is one neat guy, but just an okay kisser. He couldn’t believe that I found the missing idol. The Shaman told me what I need to do in order to get past the jaguar guarding the Forbidden Village—find a leaf in a jungle.
