Brother My Brother-Chp3 (An RP Story)

You guys make it just in time for dinner. As you sit to eat, you can't help keeping a distance from him.

Stepmom: Why are you sitting so far away from your brother?
You: *mutter to yourself* Coz he just kissed me
Orly: Yeah, why sit so far? Come closer.

As he speaks, he pulls you closer to him. You shove him slightly and politely decline him. Your stepmom still looks uneasy. She turns to your dad and says: They're not getting along very well. Should we cancel our trip?

You: Trip?
Dad: We're planning on our honeymoon at the Bahamas for a week. You sure you can handle each other?
Orly: Don't worry, Dad. I'll try to be nice to Toronto, right sis?

You excuse yourself quietly, giving your stepmom the impression that you still hate Orly. Well, sort of, since he kissed you for no reason. You hear him reassuring your Dad and his Mom that everything would be fine and that they should go on the trip. They finally agreed.

All in all, your parents leave for Bahamas. The realization that you're left alone to face Orly hits you like a mallet! You're thinking: Ahh! Alone from parents at last! Wonder if Orly wanna play PS2 with me?

First few days, everything was a-OK. He drives you to and from school, getting mobbed by fans and avoiding paparazzis in the process. You become very famous in your college and Neena has become a 'part-time messenger', passing you items for Orly to sign. Orly signs them without any complaints. One day as you watch him sign the 'heap of the day', you're thinking: Wow, his signature actually looks cool.

You: Don't you ever get tired?
Orly: No, I love my job. This is just something I have to face as a celebrity. I'm used to it.
You: Well...have you ever thought of wanting to live just like everybody else?
Orly: Isn't that what I've been doing with you, sis?
You: *think* Good point *speak* I bet everyone asks you this but...do you have a girlfriend?
Orly: *casual* No, of course not. Why you ask?
You: Well...It's just that you're a celebrity and everyone assumes that you're going out with Kate Bosworth, so...
Orly: Are you jealous?
You: Yeah, a little. After all I used to be your fan

He looks at you long and silent before he goes back to his 'autograph session'. You stare back, unable to grasp what ghe's thinking. As you get up to fix yourself a drink, his voice suddenly calls out: Actually I do have someone in mind, but I'm not sure whether to let her know or not. You're thinking: Does he mean...?

After signing the things, he gets dressed and says that he'll be a bit late coz he's working on a shoot for his new film 'The Calcium Kid' (read that in the mags). You nod and watch him leave. You do your assignments, watch a little TV, play some PS2 before retiring to your bed. Somewhere in the wee hours of the morning, you hear someone coming into your room. You arm yourself with a book. Education can be lethal

Before you can hurt the intruder, you notice those familiar dark-brown curls--it's your brother Orly. You put down whatever you're holding and demand: Orly! What's the big idea coming into my room like this?

He doesn't answer you, but stomps towards the bed and grabs you by the shoulders. Without warning, he lays his lips on yours and kisses you deeply. You end up pushing him away. His lips taste of alcohol--he's been drinking himself silly.

As you brace yourself for the incoming, Orly suddenly says: I love you, Toronto. I always have. He then staggers out of your room, leaving you dazed and confused. Needless to say, you are unable to sleep the whole night.

A Wish Come True (A Short Story)

I woke up with a start when I found myself in a very unfamiliar place. The bed I was lying on was grand—an English-quilting blanket and 2 soft pillows with flowery laces. The whole place was fit for a king! Suddenly the door opened and there stood my dream prince: Katsuya Kimura! I gasped in astonishment for he was actually a cartoon character. I did not know that he really exist. “Wake up, dear,” he said and pulled off the blanket and handed it to a woman who looked like the maid. “You will be late for work.” “Work?” I asked. “Yes! Work! Have you forgotten your own comic workhouse, baby dear?” Comic workhouse?! I…I have became a cartoonist? That was my wildest dreams! Being a cartoonist! I undressed and changed into my beige T-shirt and black trousers at once and hurriedly finished my breakfast. Katsuya drove me to the workhouse. My, my, was it big! I’ve never seen a bigger place than this! Katsuya kissed me and said, “See you at four, OK, baby?” I blushed scarlet. I always wan...

Hans and Hilda

Once upon a time there was an old miller who had two children who were twins. The boy-twin was named Hans, and he was very greedy. The girl-twin was named Hilda, and she was very lazy. Hans and Hilda had no mother, because she died whilst giving birth to their third sibling, named Engel, who had been sent away to live wtih the gypsies. Hans and Hilda were never allowed out of the mill, even when the miller went away to the market. One day, Hans was especially greedy and Hilda was especially lazy, and the old miller wept with anger as he locked them in the cellar, to teach them to be good. "Let us try to escape and live with the gypsies," said Hans, and Hilda agreed. While they were looking for a way out, a Big Brown Rat came out from behind the log pile. "I will help you escape and show you the way to the gypsies' campl," said the Big Brown Rat, "if you bring me all your father's grain." So Hans and Hilda waited until their father let them out, ...

I've Learned...

Written by Andy Rooney, a man who had the gift of saying so much with so few words. Rooney used to be on 60 Minutes TV show. I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person. I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows. I've learned .... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day. I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world. I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right. I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child. I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in any other way. I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with. I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand. I...
