One day while you're alone at home enjoying a TV show, your dad comes home from his business trip and announces to you that he has remarried.
Whatever your reaction, your dad drags you downstairs to meet your new stepmom. You make a point not to like her, but when you see her, you can't help thinking that she's not such a bad person after all. She introduces herself to you and says: Your father told me all about you. Now I would like you to meet my son. You act cool about it.
Stepmom: Orly dear. You can come in now.
Orly? You think that this name sounds familiar, and lo and behold! You see your darling Orlando Bloom standing right in front of you beside your stepmom!! You stare at him in awe.
Orly: Hello, Toronto. I heard a lot about you The name's Orlando Bloom. You can call me Orly.
Dad: Don't just stand there, pumpkin. Go and get the cake you just baked yesterday.
You nod and rush off, coming back with the cake in a second. Out of excitement, you accidentally trip on the carpet. Orly caught you just in time. You're feeling elated and blushed--You're actually held by THE Orlando Bloom!
You: Sorry, did I ruin your shirt? (Coz you spilt cream on his sleeve)
Orly: No, it's alright. Is the cake fine?
You: Yes.
Orly: *flashes the hunkiest smile you can imagine* That's great.
You feel an ultimate bliss--I mean, come on! Orly actually SMILED at you, man! Just as you sit down with your dad trying to get to know your new parent, Orly's hp stared ringing. He excused himself. You hear him talking on the hp.
Orly: Hello? Oh, hey, Kate...Uh-huh...Don't worry, we'll keep in touch...Yeah, alright...OK, bye.
Dad: Who is it?
Orly: It's Kate Bosworth. SHe's just worried that my new home is too far from--Excuse me.
The hp rang again. As he continues to entertain more calls, you hear that they're all from very famous female stars like Britney Speares, Emma Thompson, Kirsten Dunst, Hilary Duff, Nicole Kidman...the list goes on. You're thinking: Woah! He sure is a ladies' man *slightly jealous*
Stepmom: Do you mind turning off the hp? It's rude, you know?
Orly: Sorry, Mom. Can't help it if they call.
Dad: You sure are a ladies' man. I bet you get loads of beautiful girlfriends in your work field. My pumpkin here isn't the type of gal people would fall for.
Orly: Oh, they're just friends to me. I think your daughter's cute.
Dad: Ha ha! My pumpkin isn't THAT attractive. I mean, she's in college now and yet she still doesn't have a boyfriend.
You scowl. Your dad's very overprotective when it comes to you dating.
Orly: Don't worry, Dad. I won't do anything to my sister. You feel slightly disappointed, 'And I thought I was attractive enough.'
Anywho, the day ended quickly and your stepmom and Orly have settled in nicely with their belongings. You realize that now Orly and his mom are part of the family and you are going to treat them like one. That means you have to call Orly your 'Bro'. As you think about it, you hear his hp ringing (his room is beside you) and his voice talking to Kate Bosworth again.
You're thinking: Kate again? *sigh* She sure is lucky to have him as a boyfriend. Somehow him talking to Kate disturbs you. You take your blanket and pillow and head downstairs to sleep in the living room. Orly comes out of his room and asks: Where are you going, sis?
You: Duh, downstairs.
Orly: You'll catch a cold. It's mid-November, you know?
You: You talk on the phone too much. You keep me awake, and I don't like it. You really are a laides' man, aren't you?
Suddenly, he grabs you and pins you on the wall. You realize he's taking out his hp. He orders you to watch as he deletes all the phone numbers in his hp. Your heart beats nervously as you can feel his body really close to you. After deleting everything, he shoves the hp into your hand and says: There, I've deleted everything. You keep my hp. I'll get myself a new one.
You: W...Wait! Wait a sec! That's not what I meant!
Orly: Just keep it. You need it more than I do.
Without another word, he marches back into his room, leaving you standing there with his hp in your hand, wondering what was that all about...
