Chapter 14: Village People
With all the excitement lately, I had almost forgotten about my raft. I hoisted the woven grass sail that Huhana made for me. The raft is looking good, but I should take my time and do it right. No need to rush it. Besides, I hate my job back in the city.
Abandoned village? Curse? Shaman? This just kept getting better. The Chief sent me to talk to the tribe’s ex-communicated Shaman in Creepy Hollow. The place lives up to the name. Can’t wait to meet the decorator…he’ll probably want to make a skin-suit out of me.
