In Darkness

My life is cold
It always has been
But what do they care?
They don't know
They don't know what it's like
To be in the street begging for food
They don't know the feeling
Of being hungry and cold when life's not good
They don't know what it's like
To be taunted and hated and jeered at
They don't know pain or suffering
Coz to them, life's just like that
And the worst thing is they don't know
That all we want is to be loved
My life is cold
It always has been
But what do they care...?
They don't know...
