Mr Noone - The Beginning


Mr. Noone
Is coming soon
With music, toys and candy!
The kiddies dance,
The grown ups drunk
On beer and mead and brandy.

Mr. Noone
Is coming soon
With lace and pins and ribbon!
The mommies sigh
With great delight
At all the favors given.

Mr. Noone
Is coming soon
With axes, wood and roping!
The daddies laugh,
Their coffers full
And watch the shadows growing.

Mr. Noone
Is coming soon
And now the moon is rising!
The kiddies hang
By ropes and lace
Their shadows limp and winding.
