TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE
Every year Simon murders five people, and every year Simon changes the world.
The first is always a child. He loves to start with this one. The high he gets from robbing the world of this kid’s potential is better than any narcotic.
Next is a husband and wife, parents. Simon knows that the trauma of finding the mutilated bodies will drive their children to great things.
Then he goes after a holy man. How many souls will be damned now that this man won’t be there to save them?
The last kill is the only one that he hates. It’s the only one that never matters, because regardless of how many times Simon opens his own veins with a razor, or puts a bullet in his head, Simon always gets up and starts hunting for next year’s child.
