You Deserved It
“You freaking deserved it!” she cried as she threw the bloody knife on the ground, trying to wipe her shaking hands.
“You were never there for me!” her frantic voice echoed through the room, even though she knew he couldn’t hear her. “I have always, always given you everything! You never had kind words for me, you have never listened to me! I tried to be the best I could, but you never understood! I gave up everything for you, but you didn’t care! I thought we would be so happy, but I was so wrong!” she began mumbling to herself.
“No matter how much I loved you, I know I did the right thing! Your life was worthless! You were worthless!” she wept, as she watched his lifeless body on the floor, trying to dry her tears.
She finally began cleaning the mess, her whole body still trembling. She knew she had to calm down. To clear her mind.
To think how she could get rid of the baby before her husband came home from work.
