STOP READING THIS!!!

Hello reader,

This letter that I am writing to you right now is a warning for a potential danger. There is a demon that has been terrorizing people in your area for a while now. You may think this is a prank to scare you, but I assure you that it is very real.

The demon refers to itself as the Midnight Ripper. The Midnight Ripper sends its potential victims an unusual looking letter in a jet black envelope. The letter has a forever stamp with the victim’s name and address on it. There is no return address on the letter. The Midnight Ripper can only attack them if they see the letter and won’t STOP READING it. If they don’t STOP READING, they will be told that the Midnight Ripper has chosen them as its next victim. It then tells them that it’s going to visit them at midnight, and they should keep watch for when it arrives.

The letter then describes to them in horrific detail what the Midnight Ripper will do to them during the night. For example, the letter may tell the victim that it will rip out their left eye, eat it, and rip out their lungs and force them to watch with their remaining eye. Another example would be that it will slice their throats and stab them in their kidneys, and laugh because of their inaudible screams. It also tells them that its favorite thing to eat is human hearts. The letter will give the readers compliments on their hearts by saying it looks appetizing. They will then be tortured non stop until the sun rises and they finally die. He is only able to kill at night, which is why he prefers to kill in the winter. The longer nights give it more time to torture. There are many other ways that it has killed before, but I think you get the point.

No one knows why it can only attack people who see the letter and read it in its entirety. People have several theories to it, but many them seem outrageous. One theory is that there are words hidden in the letter that summon it and by reading it, they are unknowingly inviting it to kill them. The Midnight Ripper has the letter very well written in order to hook the reader in. If they are hooked, it will be almost impossible for them to STOP READING. It knows, through centuries of practice, that humans can’t stand not knowing things. It knows that their curious minds will pressure them into not wanting to STOP READING. I have been warning people that the safest thing to do is to STOP READING the mysterious letters and throw them away. I am yet to see the people I have warned to STOP READING live to see the next day. Those buffoons became curious about what was going to happen to them if they didn’t STOP READING. All of the torture they received throughout the last hours of their lives could’ve been avoided if they simply STOPPED READING. Hopefully, you can be the first person to survive. I am warning you. You must be careful. No one has lived to tell the tale of the Midnight Ripper, and it is hoping to keep that record going.

Thank you for your understanding. Make sure to keep a lookout for me when I visit you tonight. Your heart looks particularly appetizing. You should’ve STOPPED READING this while you had the chance. See you tonight.

Sincerely,

THE MIDNIGHT RIPPER

A Wish Come True (A Short Story)

I woke up with a start when I found myself in a very unfamiliar place. The bed I was lying on was grand—an English-quilting blanket and 2 soft pillows with flowery laces. The whole place was fit for a king! Suddenly the door opened and there stood my dream prince: Katsuya Kimura! I gasped in astonishment for he was actually a cartoon character. I did not know that he really exist. “Wake up, dear,” he said and pulled off the blanket and handed it to a woman who looked like the maid. “You will be late for work.” “Work?” I asked. “Yes! Work! Have you forgotten your own comic workhouse, baby dear?” Comic workhouse?! I…I have became a cartoonist? That was my wildest dreams! Being a cartoonist! I undressed and changed into my beige T-shirt and black trousers at once and hurriedly finished my breakfast. Katsuya drove me to the workhouse. My, my, was it big! I’ve never seen a bigger place than this! Katsuya kissed me and said, “See you at four, OK, baby?” I blushed scarlet. I always wan...

Hans and Hilda

Once upon a time there was an old miller who had two children who were twins. The boy-twin was named Hans, and he was very greedy. The girl-twin was named Hilda, and she was very lazy. Hans and Hilda had no mother, because she died whilst giving birth to their third sibling, named Engel, who had been sent away to live wtih the gypsies. Hans and Hilda were never allowed out of the mill, even when the miller went away to the market. One day, Hans was especially greedy and Hilda was especially lazy, and the old miller wept with anger as he locked them in the cellar, to teach them to be good. "Let us try to escape and live with the gypsies," said Hans, and Hilda agreed. While they were looking for a way out, a Big Brown Rat came out from behind the log pile. "I will help you escape and show you the way to the gypsies' campl," said the Big Brown Rat, "if you bring me all your father's grain." So Hans and Hilda waited until their father let them out, ...

I've Learned...

Written by Andy Rooney, a man who had the gift of saying so much with so few words. Rooney used to be on 60 Minutes TV show. I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person. I've learned.... That when you're in love, it shows. I've learned .... That just one person saying to me, 'You've made my day!' makes my day. I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world. I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right. I've learned.... That you should never say no to a gift from a child. I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in any other way. I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with. I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand. I...
