A Kingdom for A Prince (Part 1)

🎭🎭🎭

I yawned as I came down the stairs, scratching my head and making my way to the kitchen. It's a Sunday, a great day to sleep in. While I decided whether I should make a big breakfast or just stuff myself with cereal, I looked through my mail of the day to see if there was anything else besides junk mail.

I was a bit disappointed, I had order this phone case I've been wanting so bad, online, but on well, I'll check tomorrow. I walked make to the kitchen and looked around the fridge, there was nothing i wanted to eat. I looked around the cupboards and found pancake mix, yes.

"Thank goodness for Betty Crocker's," I muttered to myself as I took out the box of pancake mix and the additional ingredients to go with it. I was in the middle of mixing them when suddenly the phone rang.

I answered the phone. "Hello?" I decided to use a whisk which was much more quieter than an electric mixer. And I began to mix the ingredient

"Bro! How's it hanging?! Watcha doing there?!" I winced at the loud voice on the other line. It was my best mate Chad. Typical of him to be so chipper on a Sunday.

"Hey, Chad, just making breakfast. What's up?"

"Nothing, man! Just wanted to see is we can chill today, ya know?! My father can hook us up with dirt bikes and we can go out and ride em." My interest spiked a bit so I replied with a yes, but I gotta eat fast

"What time you want me to be there?" I asked as I started heating the pan for the pancakes.

"Watcha having?"

"Pancakes."

"Awesome! I haven't had a bite yet. Save some for me. I'mma coming over in 10."

He hung up before I could even reply him. Rolling my eyes and chuckled, I hung up and started making the pancakes

I put some mix into the pan. Waiting and then flipping it. By the time it was 9:54 I was barely finishing the pancakes, a total of 8. That's when I heard a knock at my door

"He sure moves fast," I talked to myself as I lowered the heat to answer the door. But instead of Chad, I was met with a big burly man in a suit with sunglasses on.

"Are you Desmond Dunn?"

"Umm, yes? Who wants to know?"

"You will have to come with me, sir."

A Wish Come True (A Short Story)

I woke up with a start when I found myself in a very unfamiliar place. The bed I was lying on was grand—an English-quilting blanket and 2 soft pillows with flowery laces. The whole place was fit for a king! Suddenly the door opened and there stood my dream prince: Katsuya Kimura! I gasped in astonishment for he was actually a cartoon character. I did not know that he really exist. “Wake up, dear,” he said and pulled off the blanket and handed it to a woman who looked like the maid. “You will be late for work.” “Work?” I asked. “Yes! Work! Have you forgotten your own comic workhouse, baby dear?” Comic workhouse?! I…I have became a cartoonist? That was my wildest dreams! Being a cartoonist! I undressed and changed into my beige T-shirt and black trousers at once and hurriedly finished my breakfast. Katsuya drove me to the workhouse. My, my, was it big! I’ve never seen a bigger place than this! Katsuya kissed me and said, “See you at four, OK, baby?” I blushed scarlet. I always wan...

To A Beautiful Person

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring. He sends you a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, he listens. He can live anywhere in the universe, but he chose... your heart. Face it friend, He is crazy about you! God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Choking on Ink

My grandmother told me when she was in high school an old math teacher in his 60’s named Harold Davidson was teaching math and one of his students wouldn’t stop tapping his pen during class.  The teacher went berserk and lost his mind. He snatched the pen and attacked the kid, lodging the pen down the child’s throat while his classmates looked on screaming. While struggling, the kid kicked the teacher in the chest with the little energy he had left. The teacher collapsed and they both died at the same time. When school was back in session and math class began with the new teacher, the class noticed that a weird symbol appeared on the chalk board. The symbol had lines inside of a circle. All the lines within the circle were the common math symbols = + x and division.  If you outline certain parts of the symbol it looks as if a pacman shape has a line going through its mouth or maybe a head getting choked with a pen. The teacher asked who drew it but no one came f...
