Woman in the Bus
I’ve told this story before on my old blog, but I’ll tell it again I guess. This is 100% true and I’m not shitting you, to this day I’m still not sure about what I saw, only that I saw it.
It happened when I was around 5-6, I was attending first grade in Taiwan at the time. My mom and sister and I were waiting for the bus at the stop in front of our apt complex, it was a pretty hot day as per usual in Taipei. I noticed a woman dressed head to toe in a black gown with long black hair standing a bit aways from us. She was looking down at the ground. I remember staring at her for a while bc of the way she was dressed on such a hot day. Then our bus came and we got on, the woman in black didn’t but I assumed she was waiting for another bus.
We’re about five minutes into the bus ride, I have my face pressed to the window bc I love looking at the busy streets as we go by.
The bus turns a corner and I suddenly notice the same woman in black standing at an intersection, still looking morosely down.
There was no way she could have made it from the bus stop to that intersection in that short a time. I recall vividly staring wide eyed at her as the bus passed, both of my palms pressed against the window, trying to ascertain if I was really seeing what I think I was.
I didn’t tell my mom or sister what I saw bc I was so freaked out.
To this day I still think about what would have happened, if that woman in black had looked up and saw me.
